The Estuary Live Edge Suar Bench celebrates the natural shape and contrasting grain of Indonesian suar wood. Each seat is handcrafted from a thick single slab, retaining its organic live edges, warm amber heartwood and pale golden sapwood. Its solid suar seat is supported by two matte-black steel trapezoid legs, creating a strong and understated design that pairs naturally with our live-edge dining tables. Every slab has individual grain patterns, knots and edge variations, making every bench unique. Choose your preferred length and enquire about the slab that will become your bench.
Every piece has natural variations in grain, colour, knots and edge shape.
The rain tree. Planted for shade across Java, it grows outward rather than upward — wide enough that a dining top comes off one trunk. A slab this wide has stood for decades.
Product images show the 250 cm version. The 200 cm and 300 cm benches use the same design and materials. As this is a natural solid-wood product, grain, colour and live-edge shape will vary from piece to piece.
